In this comic by War and Peas, a person sets a mouse trap with cheese, mocking the mouse by saying 'Haha, dumb mouse.' The mouse, near the cheese, responds 'Yeah. I do love cheese.' The mouse then expresses its love for cheese, stating 'I love cheese so much, I'm prepared to die for it,' and asks the person if they have ever loved anything so much. The person, reflecting on the question, responds sadly with 'No...' while the mouse is trapped. Feeling remorseful, the person opens the trap and frees the mouse, who escapes with the cheese.
