Panel 1: A woman in a maid outfit is mopping the floor in a room with yellow walls. There’s a bucket of water and a bottle labeled "Chloroform" beside her. The window shows a nighttime scene. Panel 2: The maid slips and falls backward, her feet flying into the air as she loses balance on the slippery, wet floor. Panel 3: The maid lies unconscious on the floor, next to the spilled bottle of chloroform. The mop is also on the floor, and the bucket is tipped over, spilling water. Panel 4: Captioned "Meanwhile, Across Town," a man in a black coat and hat is seen chloroforming another man, who says, "I feel a sudden urge to go swimming," before passing out. The attacker, holding the cloth to the man's face, responds, "Damn." The setting is outdoors at night.
