Panel 3: The soldier delivers the letter to another officer standing right next to them, saying, “An important message from Lieutenant Meyer, Sir!” Panel 4: The officer reads it aloud: “This just says ‘Jefferson stinks!’” The two commanding officers bicker like children, one shouting, “He started it!” while the messenger suggests, “Sir, the war could be over if you spoke directly, Sir!”
