Hi dear Patrons,
This week we’re joining Slutty Witch in the kitchen. If you’ve ever wondered what our process looks like, here’s a look how this comic came to be.
1. The idea
When we have an idea, we sketch it fast and dirty into our notebooks for safekeeping.
2. First sketch
The comic is ready to be made, so we sketch it out more precisely. It’s also fast but here we already decide where everything is gonna be and what it will look like.
3. The Final Line Drawing
Next, it finalising the lines, and text. Everything kind of falls into place. Drawing over the different chaotic lines in the sketch in a new layer, we must decide which line “looks best”.
4. TADA.. Color and Shadows!
Finally, its the last step, we color in our character’s and background using our color scheme. Then some nice little shadows are added on top to give it depth. Voila ✨
